About the Celebration
The Great 100 Nurses Foundation annually honors 100 Louisiana Registered Nurses for their concern for humanity, their dedication to the profession, and their mentoring of others.
Each year our Celebration is attended by over 500 registered nurses, nurse executives, hospital administrators, physicians, community leaders, as well as the families and friends of the Honorees.
On Wednesday, October 16, The Great 100 Nurses Foundation will hold its 38th Annual Great 100 Nurses Celebration of Louisiana at The Pontchartrain Center in Kenner. We are thrilled to share that Roy L. Simpson, DNP, RN, FAAN, FACMI, Distinguished Professor and Assistant Dean for Technology Management at Emory University School of Nursing, will serve as our 2024 keynote speaker.
The Celebration is funded by donations from generous hospitals, hospital systems, businesses, community partners and individuals.
